This is the official online home of the famous miniature horse long reining display team 'The Mini Marvels®' owned and trained by me Tanya Larrigan, we are based in Great Britain.It is also your introduction to the amazing M.M. plush toy range based on the Team that you can now collect. There is alot happening on the site, as you will see on the left hand index with information, competitions and many photos.
Though you will be learning different things about the team and horse health on the site, l thought the team might be able to help out at school!
The Mini Marvels will be out and about educating children at school. For more information please go to the schools page. The team will visit during term time, so the children will have something to think about and enjoy - from reading - writing to art and even exercise - its MINI MARVELS GO!
It is amazing to think that is now 11 years (1997) since original Mini Marvels long reining display team came on to the scene with their famous interpretation of Riverdance!
It all started with a very special little horse called 'Hercules' who came into my life when he was a cheeky colt! Much has happened since our meeting all those years ago, sadly little Herc has gone to horsey heaven. But he left some children behind who are in the Mini Marvels, together we carry on the work he and l started.
This site carries on our story, tells you what the team has done and are now doing, plus lots of other things.
Hercules was also the inspiration behind the Mini Marvel toys that l designed, they are based on reality just for you!
l first thought about making the toys when l was in hospital recovering from major back surgery, It kept me busy, as l was in for three weeks & couldn't ride for one year!

Hercules was also the inspiration for my big family entertainment production,
which was an equestrian variety performance called 'The Magic of the Horse®'. l had wanted to put it together for many years - featuring Hercules doing his solo piece but is was not to be.

After last years success The Show will be back for a Christmas spectacular on December 6 & 7 at 20th at Unex Towerlands Braintree Essex, it will be back bigger and better!
